I hope everyone takes time on Saturday, 9/11/21 to remember the horrific attack by terrorists on our United States of America 20 years ago.
Remember watching as our brave heroes, first responders, firefighters, police officers and EMS ran into the tumbling down twin towers in New York City, without hesitation, to save lives; not caring about the color of the skin, the sexual orientation or the political choice of those who needed to be rescued.
Many of those first responders lost their lives, limbs and still today, those who survived are suffering from medical issues caused by falling debris and chemicals from the explosions.
Remember how our brave military troops went into Afghanistan to find and kill the terrorists who had planned these attacks.
Remember to teach your children about 9/11/01. Show them the pictures of death and destruction on that day and how we must never allow that to be repeated.
Remember to thank our firefighters, police officers, veterans and military personnel when you see them. They are here to keep us safe. Remember who you are going to call when you have an emergency.
I would also like to thank the spouses and families of all first responders and military peraonnel. As the widow of a police officer, I know the stress they have daily when their loved one walks out the door each day and pray that they will safely return home from their shift.
Remember we are the United States of America. The greatest country in the world!

Thank you, Sandy, for your thoughtful encouragement to remember those who
died in the 9-11 attacks on our beloved homeland, and to thank those who serve
today to keep us safe from evil people in this world. May God help us, citizens of
the USA, to live righteous lives according to the Scriptures, for His glory and the
coming kingdom of Jesus Christ.
