R.A.I.S.E. To Hold Annual Parade, Oct. 21

Local non-profit R.A.I.S.E. Mesquite will be hosting its second annual Halloween parade on Thursday, October 21 at 6 pm in downtown Mesquite.

Local businesses, organizations and families are encouraged to make an entry in the parade and participate in this fun community event.

There is no specific theme for the parade this year other than the Halloween holiday. This allows entrants to exercise creativity in coming up with the best ideas to represent their own business or organization. The R.A.I.S.E. float will feature a “Nightmare Before Christmas” theme.

Since the parade starts at 6 pm, entrants are encouraged to light up their entries so they can be seen after dark.

Staging for the event will be at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints North Parking Lot located at 100 N. Arrowhead Lane beginning at 4:30 pm.

All entries for the parade must be received by Saturday, October 16.

Click HERE to download and print the Entry forms. The completed forms may be returned to R.A.I.S.E. Mesquite, 1312 Bull Whip Point, Mesquite, NV 89034; or by email to raisemesquitenv@gmail.com.

Those who cannot enter a float or vehicle may consider making a donation towards candy in the parade. Donations may also be mailed to the R.A.I.S.E. Mesquite address above.

R.A.I.S.E Mesquite is an organization determined to Raise Awareness, Interest, Support and Engagement with all Mesquite residents.
