Planning is already underway for the 2021 Veterans Day Parade in downtown Overton. And local businesses, groups and organizations are encouraged to apply early to participate in the festivities.
Presented by VFW Post 8336 in partnership with the Moapa Valley Chamber of Commerce, the parade will take place on Thursday, November 11 beginning at 10 am, starting at Andersen St. near the library and ending at Perkins Ave. in downtown Overton.
Currently, the Chamber is taking all applications for parade entries. Businesses, organizations and even individuals are invited to enter the parade. There is no fee for entry.
Applications can be found HERE and on the Moapa Valley Chamber Facebook page, or a paper applicatgion may be picked up at Washington Federal Overton branch, Xtreme Stitch or Clea’s Moapa Valley Realty in Overton.
CDC recommendations will be in place for the event and all community members are asked to be respectful and considerate of others in following the COVID guidelines so the parade may continue.
Staging will begin at 9 am.
