Ronald Struhar
Ronald G. Struhar, formerly of North Ridgeville, Ohio, passed away September 22, 2021 in Mesquite, NV following a long illness. He was born on April 27, 1944 to Rudolph Struhar and Florence Struhar in Cleveland, Ohio.
Ron served in the U.S. Navy and was proud to be an aircraft firefighter and paramedic at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. He enjoyed flying as a private pilot and playing golf. He retired to Mesquite in 2006, and really loved being there.
Ron is survived by his wife of 53 years, Pauline (Polly) Struhar, and son, Jonathan Struhar of Elyria, Ohio.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, October 17, 2021 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at The Terrace at Wolf Creek Golf Course.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Wounded Warriors or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
