LETTER: Don’t Waste My Tax $

I hope everyone is as outraged as me with the amount of money being proposed for “virtue signaling” programs in the “infrastructure” and “reconciliation” bills!

This is not about Democrats, Republicans or Independents, it is about common sense spending. First the infrastructure bill has only a small percentage for funding true infrastructure – roads, bridges, dams, etc.

The bulk of the money goes for “human” infrastructure. We are told “free” Pre-K for everyone. However, the “free” is only for Pre-K establishments that are operated by individuals with college degrees. No faith-based Pre-K schools qualify for the “free” money. If it sounds too good to be true, beware!

The “reconciliation” bill – some of the “are you kidding me” programs it includes:

1. Hiring 75,000 IRS employees at a cost of over 80 billion dollars to track our accounts and transactions of $600 and more.

2. 8 billion dollars to hire 300 climate ambassadors.

3. 3 billion dollars for “tree equity”

4. 25 million dollars to study butterflies

5. 2 million dollars to build a park in “Queen Pelosi’s” neighborhood in San Francisco. How about spending that money on care for our Veterans and more Social Security offices, and DMV offices

6. Paying for 5 hundred thousand electric charging stations.
We don’t use our tax dollars to build gas stations. Why should we be forced to pay for charging stations?

Call your Senators and Congressmen with your concerns. We are not
Communist China or Socialist Venezuela, We are the United States of America!
