Rooster Cottage To Hold Annual Fall Open House

The Rooster Cottage Consignment Gallery in Mesquite will hold its annual Fall Open House event on Saturday, Nov. 13. The event is a customer appreciation day and will take place from 10 am-4 pm.
According to co-owner Carol Bulloch, “We have an open house twice a year because we want to showcase the store and our consigners.”

This very unique store is now in its 11th year and offers more items than ever. Specializing in new and gently used home furnishings, original art and decor, gifts and hand-crafted items, this gallery promises to have something for everyone.

Carol co-owns the business with Dana Bulloch. “We just love what we do,” Carol said. “As partners, we have the same vision and work well together.”

The store has been completely rearranged for this event and offers many holiday gifts and gift ideas.

The open house will offer plenty of specials and fun things, such as a free gift to attendees (one per household), refreshments, a drawing for Rooster Cottage gift certificates, lots of marked down items, and much more.
“Consignment stores have taken off and become very popular over the last five or six years,” said Carol.

“We love our customers and our staff. We could not ask for better employees, and feel very blessed to have this business.”

“The store is starting to become very busy for the holiday season,” Carol added. “There are a lot of new items coming in daily, so if you don’t see what you are looking for, come back the next day. Most of our items are one-of-a-kind and many treasures can be found here.”

Carol and Dana, whose husbands are cousins, also expressed appreciation for the support by the community and other local businesses.

The store’s regular operating hours are Monday through Friday 10am-5pm and Saturdays 10am-4pm.
