Christopher Lee Stevens

Christopher Lee Stevens, 66, passed away on December 16, 2021 at his home in Logandale, NV. He was born on August 23, 1955 in Las Vegas, NV to Evan and Wanda Stevens, welcomed home by older siblings John, Susan, Curtis, and Louise.

Though while growing up he lived in Las Vegas, NV, Sacramento, CA, Bountiful, UT and Centerville, UT, he started a family in Moapa Valley, NV where he called home the majority of his life. He was a quiet, hardworking man who loved his family and worked hard to provide for them all.

He enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids and taking them on adventures, teaching them many things and making great memories in the process: camping, hiking, fishing, chopping wood, hill climbing, mud bogging, shooting, and working on automotive projects just to name a few.

In his retirement years, he enjoyed spending time at home with his wife Marsha Stevens and being visited by his kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. His absence is felt so strongly.

Chris is survived by four sons and three daughters: Leah Beynon of Henderson, NV, Mandy Cole (Eric Neilson) of Logandale, NV, Chris (Kori Jo) Stevens of Scenic, AZ, Casey (Sarah) Stevens of Santa Clarita, CA, Coriann Stevens of Brookings, OR, Elijah (Celestial) Stevens of Ft. Wayne, IN, Hayden Stevens of Elko, NV, Heather Hughes, and Lev Hughes; 29 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters: Susan (Carl) Hansen of Hurricane, UT, Curtis (Nerrisch) Stevens of Las Vegas, NV, Louise (Dennis) Stetzer of Texas, and Kelly (Kathy) Stevens of Lewiston, ID.

He was preceded in death by his parents Evan and Wanda Stevens; his brother John; one grandson, Gavin, and one great grandson, Alexander.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2021 9:00-9:45 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Logandale Stake Center, 2555 N St Joseph Street in Logandale, NV, with funeral services at 10:00 a.m. Graveside service will follow at the Logandale Cemetery.

The funeral will be live-streamed at Christopher Stevens Memorial Facebook Group.

    I offer my condolences to the family, I am so sorry for the loss of such a beautiful person. I know how hard it is to lose someone so precious in your life so for that I feel your pain. He is walking with our savior and not to long till we will all be together again one day. R.I.P Cris you will be missed.
