CHRISTMAS MESSAGE: Oh Come All Ye Faithful

My Dear Fellow Disciples of Jesus Christ, what a wonderful time of the year this is as the spirit of Christmas is made manifest in our hearts as we serve others and open our hearts to our Savior.

The classic Christmas hymn “Oh Come, All Ye Faithful” tells us that the “son of the father” is appearing in the flesh, and the faithful are invited to come to Bethlehem and “adore the king of angels” and to “sing in exultation.”

As foretold by ancient prophets our Redeemer indeed entered mortality in the humblest of circumstances. However, we were not there to greet him, nor could we accept the invitation to “come and adore him”.

Fortunately for us the invitation to adore the King of kings was not extended with an expiration date.
With that said let me once again extend the call to “come and adore him” this Christmas season. Adore him by feeding his sheep and carrying his cross as we lift the burdens of those around us.

I invite you to turn your thoughts unto him who has saved us all. Grant him access to your hearts that you may feel of his love for you. In turn, share that love with your fellow man.

This Christmas season I ask you to consider this question; how will I adore him?

I pray that the blessings of heaven are upon you as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, even Jesus Christ!
