The Lost City Museum held its annual Holiday Open House on Saturday, December 11. The event is one of the downtown Overton museum’s big fundraisers for the year. It is hosted each year by the volunteers of the Museum’s Docent Council.

The event kicked off with free admission to the public. Multiple local musicians played Christmas music during the open house. In addition, a group of artists were on hand to answer questions about upcoming exhibits at the museum.

The current exhibit is an outstanding photography show by William Willis Photography and VL2 Photography. The photography featured outstanding color and black and white photography from the West, including bison and vast landscapes.

Museum Director Mary Beth Timm expressed appreciation for the engagement from the local Moapa Valley community in the museum.

“We are overwhelmed by the support from the community and we are so grateful to everyone who helped make this happen,” she said. “We want to wish everyone Happy Holidays.”
