OBITUARY: Arlene Henryette Clark

Arlene Henryette Clark

Arlene Henryette Clark

Arlene Henryette Clark, 80, passed away on April 3, 2022 in Spanish Fork, UT. She was born on October 30, 1941 in Brooklyn, NY to Louis Vincent Quinn and Charlotte Olafine Olsen.

When Arlene was 10, her mother passed away and she went to Pennsylvania to live with her Aunt Henrietta (Vincent) and her cousins. When she was 19, she married Lawrence Robert Clark and moved to Huguenot, New York near his family. Together they had two children. She and Lawrence were later separated, so Arlene raised her two children while working jobs at various factories.

She started working for Toys ‘R’ Us and retired after more than twenty years working stocking and inventory. She moved to Overton, NV to be nearer to her daughter, Teri, in 2002 and followed them to Spanish Fork, UT fifteen years later.

At times in Arlene’s life, she experienced hardships and disappointments in her family life, and this motivated her to find family in everyone she met. She cared deeply for those around her, and would often gift many of the crafts she would make. She was very talented in painting and ceramics. She loved spending time with her family, whether it be traveling or going to the movies.

Arlene is survived by her children: Carl Robert (Laura) Clark and Teri Ann (Willie) Waite; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren with one on the way; her siblings: Adelaide (Bob) Levine, Sandra Weghorn, and Marilyn Dixon; and her cousin/sister, Bette (Richard) Dean. She is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Charlotte.

Viewing services will be held at the Moapa Valley Mortuary, 5090 N. Moapa Valley Blvd, Logandale, NV on Thursday, April 14, 2022 11:30-12:30 a.m., followed by graveside services at the Logandale Cemetery, 3220 Lyman Avenue, Logandale, NV. A live stream of the service may be found at Arlene Clark Memorial Facebook Group.

The family invites you to leave a message or memory in their guest book at www.moapavalleymortuary.com.
