What get’s to me, is that it’s mostly women who are the protagonists in this cause. Women fighting and protesting for the right to get to kill their own children. Fifteen weeks is a third of term. That’s a whole person with brain function and circulating blood. Emergency rooms all over the world have staggering numbers of battles to save the lives of children who are born prematurely through no fault of the mothers’, at that same 15 weeks of gestation.
However, if something is wrong enough that the lives of the mother or the child are in danger, and a life of an unborn person needs to be taken to save the life of a mother, then it should be a decision made by a doctor and the parents, or parent, and not by me or by you or by the government. If the life of an innocent, not yet breathing person needs to be snuffed out, I as a taxpayer should not be forced into that process. And above all, I should not be forced into paying for it.
The reason we keep hearing about this, is because millions of dollars of our tax money goes to clinics that perform these murders for women who fail to take control of their own reproductive powers. And it’s wrong.

“In no way, shape or form is a 20-week fetus viable. There’s no evidence of a 20-week fetus surviving, even with intensive medical care.”
