The Mesquite Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting celebration for the new location of the Mesquite Business Center and U-Haul dealership on Tuesday, May 24. The long-time Mesquite business has expanded its footprint, relocating from its old location at 424 Riverside Road to a larger space at 536 Commerce Circle in the city’s industrial park sector.
Owners Suzanne and Pat Galliher presented a really tasty lunch for attendees of the event. Pat slow-cooked pulled pork on Pellet BBQs. It was quite a treat, with baked beans and coleslaw. Pat said he is experienced in food prep and loves to smoke and BBQ.
“We are bigger and better now in our new location,” said Suzanne Galliher.
U-Haul Area Field Manager Fredi Arriaga came for the event. The center has a large inventory of U-Haul rentals. Arriaga explained that this Mesquite business is an official drop-off and pick-up location for the area.
“U-Haul’s policy is to pick only an already flourishing business to partner with,” Arriaga said. “Mesquite is a good location because it is a growing area.”
Within the last 14-days the center has received twenty drop-off trucks.
There is plenty of room at the new location for the U-Haul inventory. This inventory includes trucks and trailers of all sizes. Inside the store it is still business as usual with their shipping, packaging and printing business.
“We are happy to re-acquaint everyone with our growing business,” said Suzanne Galliher of the ribbon cutting. “It is most important for people to know we made it through COVID-19 and have added more services to our business.”
