Mesquite real estate agent Linda Darling has recently begun working with construction company Richmond American Homes out of Las Vegas. She is helping to connect home buyers to the new-construction homes being built on the three properties which Richmond Builders is developing in Mesquite.
“I was working as a regular realtor selling local area inventory,” Darling said. “But since I have started working with Richmond American Homes selling new construction, I think I have found my niche. I just love it and I feel at home with the construction end of it.”
Many may know Linda from her time with Century 21 Americana. She helped open their new office in Mesquite a few years ago. Darling has lived in Mesquite for six years and is active in the community. She is a member of the Elks Lodge, the Chamber of Commerce, and works the Victims Advocate unit in Mesquite as a volunteer police officer. She was a contestant in the 2019 Miss Senior Mesquite Pageant. She can usually be found at any of the local events in town.
“I grew up in a construction-working family,” Linda said. “I am familiar with their terminology and blueprints. So I can be helpful to the buyers during the building process. I keep them updated on the construction and send them pictures of the progress, if they are out of area.”
Richmond American Homes have been building homes for forty years. The company originated in Colorado. Their latest property sub-division will be Auburn Vista’s located at Horizon Blvd and Hardy Way. Other Richmond Homes properties in Mesquite are Sorrento and Canyon Crest.
Richmond’s latest sub-division, Auburn Vistas, will have homes in the mid $300,000s. From 1,390 square foot homes to approximately 19,000 square feet. There will be forty-eight units in all.
“Floor plans for these new homes are exceptional,” Linda said. “They give the feeling of real spaciousness.”
