Mark your calendars for some fun! The Rotary Club of Mesquite is holding the annual Mudd Volleyball tournament event on Saturday September 17 in the mud pits being prepared next to the Eureka Hotel.
It is still not too late to sign up. A six-person team can register at $210 per team. Sponsorships and banners are also available as well as volunteer scorekeepers, runners, etc. For information about all of these things, speak with event coordinator Linda at 307-760-9544.
Mudd Volleyball is one of the Rotary’s main fundraisers, as well as one of the most fun events around. Rotary club proceeds help local charities, school scholarships and a variety of projects in the Virgin Valley.
Spectators are welcome to come down and watch the tournament for free. The games begin at 9 AM. Attendees can watch the Mesquite Police Department and the Fire and Rescue Department battle it out for the large trophy.
Hamburgers, hot dogs, drinks and T-shirts will be available at the event for a donation.
Teams compete for 1st, 2nd and 3nd place and each receive a trophy. New this year is Best Team Costume category.
Everyone is welcome to join in the fun.
