The Progress
The Mesquite Chapter of the Philanthropic Educational Organization (P.E.O.) is holding a major fundraising raffle calculated to get people’s mouths watering. This year’s event, titled “Taste of Mesquite!” will bring local culinary delights to a lucky group of raffle winners.
This year’s grand prize is a gourmet meal for six prepared at your home by Chef Jeff, formally from Eats and Emeril’s Delmonico Steak House in Las Vegas. Chef Jeff currently is displaying his talents at the Bit and Spur in Springdale, Utah.
This amazing evening is tailored to your taste. Chef Jeff will create a 4 or 5 course customized menu tailored to you and your guests. He will shop for all the ingredients and then prepare, cook and serve the meal in your home. The evening even comes with event cleanup at the end.
Not everyone can be a grand prize winner. So other prizes in this raffle include gift certificates to Gregory’s Mesquite Grill at the Eureka, Danielle’s assortment basket, Smoke N’ Grind food truck, Desert Dishes freezer meals, The Worden, Xicocream, Los Lupes, Hole Foods Bakery, and the D’Thai Bistro.
The mission of the P.E.O. is to expand educational opportunities for women – both primary and continuing education – in any established field. The P.E.O. is directed specifically at uplifting professional women in the U.S. through education. This could include scholarships, grants and continuing education programs for women in all career fields. For more information, visit www.peointernational.org.
Tickets for the Taste of Mesquite! raffle are on sale now. Tickets cost $40 and can be purchased via email at KJEnglish51@gmail.com or via Facebook message to Karen Bernardo English.
