Medicare Mary is holding a celebration this week at Lin’s Marketplace. Mary Bundy, who specializes in Medicare products, is celebrating the new availability of Select Health insurance plans to members of the community in a “Welcome to the Valley” party on October 14-15 at Lin’s.
“Select Health is coming to the Valley!” exclaimed Bundy in an interview last week. “So this is just letting people know about it. A lot of people want to use Select Health because it is in the Intermountain Healthcare network.”
In addition, Mesa View Regional Hospital in Mesquite now can accept Select Health coverage for the first time.
“It is going to be really helpful because so many of my 65 and older Medicare clients don’t want to drive to Vegas for care,” Bundy said. “They prefer to go to St. George or Mesquite for their health care. Now that Select Health was accepted at Mesa View and at the local Quick Care, that is a big deal for them.”
On Friday, Bundy will be set up at Lin’s for a Medicare Education Day. She can consult with people about their current Medicare plans and give information about a range of options, including Select Health.
On Saturday the welcome party begins with drinks, snacks and plenty of fun.
“Hopefully a lot of folks will come down and see me,” Bundy said. “It should be a lot of fun.”
