Frank Edward Cornwall

Frank Edward Cornwall, age 88, passed away on October 4, 2022 in Logandale, NV. He was born on January 19, 1934 in Culver City, CA to Francis Albert Cornwall and Arline Thelma Johnson.

Frank left high school early to join the United States Navy and served in Korea. As he left the Navy, he began work as a studio grip for several movie studios and moved on to become a film editor for MGM.
He met and later married Julie Ann Butler on November 11, 1961 in Santa Monica, CA. They moved their family to Green Valley Lake and lived there for over forty years. Frank and Julie started a trucking business, and after several decades, retired and began work as a general contractor. He also volunteered as the Assistant Fire Chief for the local fire department.

He was often serving and volunteering his time and abilities. He was able to coordinate the building of the local community center and museum, and did much of the work on his own time. In 2009, Frank and Julie sought warmer weather, and moved to Logandale, NV. He continued his interests in woodworking and lapidary work. He was a big fan of rodeos and watching professional bull riding. He was an avid reader. He had immense faith and loved his Savior, Jesus Christ.

He is survived by his loving wife, Julie Cornwall; his five children: Julie (Brian) Foucht, John Cornwall, Jim Cornwall, Mary Cornwall, and Valarie Newbourg; a multitude of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his siblings: Dan, Linda, and Jim. He is preceded in death by his parents and several siblings.
