LETTER: Back to the big tent

Mr. Robison hit the nail on the head in his analysis of the Republican Party (From the Editor’s Desk: A hope for lessons learned in 2022 loss: Progress, Nov. 22, 2022).

I’ve always felt that Donald Trump was a negative influence. Believing that has led to me being pushed out of the party being called a RINO and worse.

I’m sure Ronald Reagen has been turning over in his grave about what has happened over the last several years. He believed in the big tent where all views were of value.

Hopefully now we can get back to a more moderate vision instead of where anyone who disagreed with Trump was chastised and ridiculed. A new old dawn.
