The Progress
The Salvation Army Kettle Drive volunteers come in all ages, shapes and sizes to ring their bells in front of local stores. The one thing they all have in common is their desire to help others.
This week in front of Smiths, The Progress met Sydney Crandall and her young crew of budding volunteers: Hadley, Siena, Callahan and baby Beckham.
When the Mesquite Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints asked for help to fill its time slots, Crandall stepped right up with four little ones in tow, wiping away the “don’t have time excuse.”
Kudos to Sydney!
The annual Kettle Drive is the main source of funding for the Salvation Army of Mesquite budget for the upcoming year. All funds donated into the kettles go to help local people in need.

Yay! That’s the spirit of volunteering and showing the next generation how important it is to assist others. Hats off to you mama Crandall
