The very popular Donkey Jamboree will be held in the Eureka Casino parking lot on Saturday, March 4 from 11am – 3 pm. All of the community is invited to come an enjoy a variety of donkey-centered activities.
The Jamboree is a coordinated event between Peaceful Valley Rescue, Donkey Dreams Sanctuary – both in Scenic, Arizona – along with the Eureka Resort, and the Donkey History Museum in Mesquite.
“There will be four or more live donkeys to visit with at the Jamboree,” said Donkey History Museum curator Raymond Robbins. “And the museum will have plenty of merchandise for sale.”
Eureka will also be selling food, wine and beer at the event.
The Mesquite Showgirls will be there to greet visitors and selling raffle tickets.
Entertainment will be provided by Outlaw Rick Wall.
Gift Shop Manager Laurie Ellis and Gerri Chasko, Director of Community Initiative for Eureka Resort have gotten together to organize this family-friendly event. All are welcome.
