A musical theatre production of “Seussical Kids” will be presented by students at J.L. Bowler Elementary in Bunkerville on March 30 and 31 at 6:00 pm. both nights; and twice on Saturday, April 1 at 10:00 am and 1:00 pm.
Students in the third, fourth and fifth grades have been learning songs and dances to tell the story of Dr. Seuss’ characters. About 100 students are in the two casts of the production.
Cast A and B will perform the play twice. Cast A will perform at on Thursday night and again at the Saturday 10 am performance. Cast B will perform on Friday night and at the Saturday 1:00 pm performance.
The students have been staying after school three days a week since January to learn their dances and songs.
Tickets are $5 for individuals and $15 for a family. They are available at the door or in the school administration office during school hours.
Jamie Jones is the director. Paula Gardner and Chelsie Abbott painted the scenery. Shaye Whipple is over choreography. Kendra Heath is in charge of costumes.
