The Mesquite Republican Women are sponsoring a Mesquite Spring Festival on Saturday, April 22 from 10 am to 4 pm. The event will be held outdoors at the Mesquite Recreation Center West Field. The event is free to the public and all are invited.
Proceeds from the event to the sponsors are pledged to Mesquite Safenest and the Mesquite Community Education Foundation.
Vendor booths have been reserved for local artists, crafters, and a wide variety of items and services. Some of the great food trucks serving Mesquite will also be on hand.
After the opening ceremony at 10 am, there will be continuous entertainment on the stage all day. The band, Runaway Fire, will play through out the day.
State Senator Jeff Stone, who represents Mesquite at the Nevada Legislature is expected to be making an appearance at around noon.
Several of the Recreation Center programs will be giving demonstrations.
A bake sale will be held with wrapped goods to take home. A raffle with exciting prizes will be offered.
