Plenty of Entertainment at the Clark County Fair!

The 2023 Clark County Fair and Rodeo has arrived for all the enjoy bringing more entertainment than ever. This year there are stage acts, strolling acts, and ground acts for fairgoers of all ages.
At the Fair, there are animal acts, hypnotists, lots of musical groups, science puzzles, jugglers, stilt walkers, mimes and so much more!
“We have a lot of entertainment this year,” said Clark County Fair Entertainment Coordinator Denise Robison. “It will be one of our biggest yet.”

Several acts will be featured on the grounds throughout the fair.

The Sea Lion Splash Show is one of these. Fair-goers will flip over it. If you are a fan of marine animals it will be a favorite, allowing families to get up close and personal with a trio of trained sea lions. This act has been known to pack the stands and bring a lot of excitement.

The Cartoon Poodles Show is another grounds act with more than a dozen colorful and playful poodles that fly in the air, dance with glamorous night gowns and provide a high energy fun show.

A grounds act that is back by popular demand is the Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show. This one is filled with action-packed competition, and plenty of laughter.

The Super Science Company, Puzzlemania offers brainteasers, jigsaw puzzles, tangrams, geometric puzzles, tavern puzzles and more.

The Swifty Swine Racing Pigs show makes its appearance at the fair and is always a favorite. Swifty and his friends don’t do it for the money. Rather they race to get the Oreo cookie waiting at the finish line.

Tanna Banana Story and Song Show will also be back to take guests on an unexpected journey full of stories and songs.

Many entertaining acts will be just strolling around throughout the fairgrounds. Who knows when you might come upon them?!

One of these, called Circus Luminescence, is a multicolored light show set in motion by talented strolling jugglers who bring objects to life through mesmerizing patterns.

Mango and Dango are professional stilt walkers who bring unique experiences with their playful personalities, entertaining costumes and incredible balancing skills. Zoey the Butterfly is another stilt walker. Keep an eye out for her as she towers above everyone.

Then there is Mimelot, a talented and unforgettable mime act who express themselves through gestures and facial expressions.

Of course, the major attractions take place on the stage.
The Friday night concert will feature Uptown Funk which begins at 9:30 pm on the Plaza Stage.
“Uptown Funk is a Tribute to Bruno Mars,” said Robison. We are excited to bring them back again. It is a show you don’t want to miss!”

On Saturday night at 8:30 pm, Queen Nation is set to perform on the Plaza Stage. “They are a very popular tribute show that performs sold-out shows across America,” said Robison. “The #1 Tribute to the band Queen.”

Tyzen the Hypnotist, a huge crowd-pleaser, is returning to the Fair. His show brings members of the audience onstage to partake in mental experiments and mind-blowing demonstrations of hypnosis.

Another performer, Fantastick Patrick, will be featured in a dazzling show of juggling fire, swords, balls and more. His awe-inspiring yo-yo act, plate spinning and free-balancing objects of great size will keep the audience fully engaged.

Hillia Hula Hoop Extraordinaire will combine jaw-dropping hula hoop feats, comedy and interactive audience participation for a one-of-a-kind show.

The Junebugs are a musical group that brings folk rock and hip hop together in a high energy sound that you can dance to.

Hunny B’s Rhapsody is a mother-and-daughter singing duo to showcase the biggest hits spanning seven decades of chart topping classics for the 40s through today’s top hits.

There is plenty of entertainment to see, hear and experience at this year’s Fair. And the entrance ticket includes all of this and more. The only problem is, how to see it all!
