Lost City Museum Hosts Local Artists in Residence

The Lost City Museum in Overton is hosting the Moapa Valley Art Guild Artists in Residence exhibit during the month of April.

The gifted local artists who have their works on exhibit and sale include Janet Trobough, Sherrie Whitney, Wendy Bohl, Jackie Worthen, Susan Perez, Stacie Holland, Joy Lamb and Kim Delgadillo.

Artist and MVAG member, Janet Trobough commented, “The Art Guild has maintained Artists in Residence at the museum for a very long time…nearly 30 years.”

In addition to wall art, there is also sculpture, handmade one-of-a-kind jewelry, prints, cards, and hand-designed mosaic terracotta planters for purchase.

All of the artwork displayed at the museum has a southwestern theme that compliments the museum’s collections.

The museum is open Wednesday-Sunday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm. Adult admission is $6 and children are free.
