Rooster Cottage to Hold Annual Open House

Rooster Cottage and Consignment Gallery in Mesquite will host it’s annual Open House and Day of Local Art this Saturday, April 22, from 10am-4pm, with live music being performed at the event.
”This day is more than a shopping event,” said Carol Bulloch, co-owner of the gallery. “We want to highlight local artists. We offer space outside for a small fee to give artisans a chance to sell, create and display their art or handmade items. There are so many talented people in our area and it’s so fun to see their creativity.”

Inside the store, shoppers will find many unique one-of-a-kind items, decor, gently used furniture, gifts and so much more.

Also at the open house, refreshments will be provided, as well as a free gift for attendees (1 per household), and drawings for Rooster Cottage gift certificates. There will be many specials and lots of marked down items.

“It’s a small way that Rooster Cottage can give back to the community that has been so supportive of our business,” Bulloch said, “It’s an opportunity for our customers to get unique items for gifts or for themselves. I know I always find something fun for Christmas gifts for my sisters and daughter in-laws. There is something for everyone.”

The store’s regular hours are Monday through Friday, 10 am-5 pm and Saturdays 10 am-4 pm.
