A project to add two truck-climbing lanes to southbound I-15 north of the U.S. 93 interchange will begin Monday, May 8. The project will widen I-15 towards the median at two distinct locations for the additional lane. Project 1 is on southbound I-15 from Clark County milepost 64.4 to 66.1. Project 2 is on southbound I-15 from milepost 70.7 to 71.9.
Crews will work day and night shifts, Sunday nights through Thursday afternoons. Any traffic restrictions will take place during overnight hours. Work is scheduled to be completed in October.
Motorists should use caution while traveling through work zones, and take alternate detour routes, if possible. NDOT works with Waze to inform the public about planned highway restrictions. Construction schedules are subject to change due to weather or other factors. For the latest state highway conditions, visit www.nvroads.com or call 511 before driving.
