Lawrence David Brundy

Lawrence David Brundy, 63, passed away January 19, 2024 in Moapa, NV. He was born March 19, 1960 in Las Vegas, NV to Donald Albert, Sr. and Larry Perkins Brundy. His family moved often, and Lawrence lived in several states and Saipan before graduating high school in Benton City, WA.

After high school he bought a horse and rode from the bottom of Idaho to the Canadian border. He always had a love for the outdoors enjoying nature while camping, hiking, gold panning and rockhounding throughout the western U.S.

He liked talking to people and made friends everywhere. He was generous with his time and willing to help anyone at any time. During his life he worked many different jobs starting with an irrigation company and a farm while in high school and ending with power plant maintenance shutdowns before retiring. At one time he had an opal mine in Lincoln County with his brother. He enjoyed his life despite its challenges.

He is survived by his mother, Larry Perkins Brundy; his siblings: Kimberly Brundy and Donald A. Brundy, Jr. He is preceded in death by his father, Donald A. Brundy, Sr. Lawrence. “Keep a campfire burning there until we can join you again for tall tales, laughter, and good conversation.”

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

The family invites you to leave a message or memory in their guest book at www.moapavalleymortuary.com.

I’m so sad to hear that Larry passed away. Whenever he visited the library, he always came in with a cheerful smile and friendly ‘hello!’. He was a nice person to talk with. Don and Kim – I hope you and the rest of your family are doing alright. I hope that many fond memories will bring comfort to you all during this time. *hugs*
