Vicki N Simmons

Vicki N Simmons, 69, of Mesquite, NV passed away Friday February 9, 2024 in Mesquite, NV.

She was born September 29, 1954 in Culver City, CA to Frank George Eagle and Millie Mildred Morris. She married Grant W Simmons March 27, 2006 in Las Vegas.

Vicki was raised in Phoenix, AZ. She enjoyed selling Avon and enjoyed listening to music, and was a back up singer for Sylvia Kirby singing the song “Nobody”.

Vicki moved to Las Vegas in the 80s and worked at the Flamingo Casino as a change attendant and later on moved up to being a surveillance agent which she really enjoyed doing. She moved on to work at the Texas Casino in 2009 working as a surveillance agent. Vicki retired in June of 2017 due to medical problems. She moved to Mesquite, NV in December 2022 to finish her retirement with her husband.

She also loved to sing & dance to songs on the radio, with favorites: Cross My Heart by George Strait, Through the Years by Kenny Rogers. She was a big Elvis Fan as well as Cher, Foreigner and all early Country Western music.

She was an animal lover, leaving behind 2 cats, which she called her girls. She adored them dearly.
She enjoyed going to shows, seeing famous entertainers, Tony Orlando, Frankie Avalon, George Wallace and Peter Noone.

She enjoyed going to San Diego, visiting the zoo & Old Town. Also coming home from San Diego, visiting Calico a Ghost & Old Western Town.

She always loved being with her grandkids, which she adored so much.
She enjoyed New Years Eve Parties.
Vicki loved to watch TV and had many favorites. She had many friends working at Texas Station; Tony and Summer, and Kenny & Carol meant so much to her.

She also loved viewing the mountains from her living room window. She donated her corneas, she wanted so much to help someone that needed them.

She loved living in Mesquite for retirement, enjoyed meeting neighbors and loved the mountains & Mesquite being so quiet.

She is survived by her husband Grant W Simmons of Mesquite, NV; son Michael Mirabal 2nd (Alisa); grandchildren: Mia Mirabal & Michael Mirabal 3rd; In-laws Glenn W and Jean Simmons.
She is preceded in death by her daughter Laura Beth West, and brother Robert Temple Eakle.

Private Services will be held at a future date. Please send all donations to the American Cancer Society.

“Vicki you gave me Happiness in my Life, where no one ever did. I’ll never forget your beautiful smile, and the Special person you were to me. I will cherish the Memories we had together. I was there for you to the end. You now have Peace in the Valley. I will be there when God calls. You are now in Heaven in the hands of Guardian Angels, that will watch over you and your Daughter now.
My Love for you, will continue on for ever. Vicki Thank You for your Love & Happiness.
I was so Blessed to had you in my Life. Thank You for 18 Beautiful Years!
You are the Love of My Life. Rest In Peace My Beautiful Baby.
