MV Family History Fair to be held Saturday

The annual Moapa Valley Community Family History Fair will be held on Saturday morning, February 24 at the Logandale Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2555 St. Joseph Street. The event is free to attend and all of the public is invited, with no pre-registration required.

The fair will begin at 9 a.m. with the last class period concluding about 12:30 p.m.. A free luncheon will follow.

This event is designed for anyone with ancestors, which includes everyone! No matter what race, religion or background, everyone has ancestors that they might be curious about. This event will give attendees some tools to find those people and learn a little about them.

Teens are especially welcome to attend the fair and benefit from the expertise that is there.

The three-hour fair is divided into three segments where attendees can choose to more than 20 classes taught by genealogy experts brought in from all across the west.

The 2024 keynote speaker, Nicole Davis, is an avid genealogist for over 30 years. She has done it professionally genealogist for past 10 years. Davis is the author of 20 Miracles of Family History: My Own Personal Journey. She has helped people from around the globe become more successful in their family history endeavors.
