The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) wishes to inform the public about forthcoming lane restrictions on State Route 169 (SR-169) in Moapa Valley. The scheduled restrictions will involve intermittent closures of one lane on SR-169 in a specified direction, occurring between I-15 and Bowman Rd. Traffic control will be facilitated by flaggers, and motorists are advised to anticipate delays during these periods.
The intermittent lane restrictions are scheduled to occur from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, throughout the weeks of February 26 and March 4.
The ongoing SR-169 project is focused on enhancing the shoulder width and incorporating a dedicated truck climbing lane. The construction is anticipated to achieve substantial completion in the spring of 2024.
Motorists should use caution while traveling through work zones, and take alternate detour routes, if possible. NDOT works with Waze to inform the public about planned highway restrictions. Construction schedules are subject to change due to weather or other factors. For the latest state highway conditions, visit www.nvroads.com or call 511 before driving.
