Plenty of live entertainment lined up for the CC Fair

The Eagle’s tribute band “Hotel California” will be performing on the Plaza Stage on Saturday night at 9 pm during the Clark County Fair this year.

From laughs to the extreme, the lineup of entertainment at the Clark County Fair this year is guaranteed to bring fun for all ages.

The biggest performance will be on Thursday night at 9 p.m. after the rodeo. This concert features an America’s Got Talent (AGT) star from Cedar City, Utah who racked up social media fame during the pandemic in 2020.

Chris Peterson won over the AGT celebrity judges with a country rendition of him and his dog Syd singing “Look at You Girl” by Chris LeDoux.

Simon Cowell was impressed and called their performance “unbelievable,” “brilliant” and “genius” for the 15th season of the national competition show.
Peterson is a graphic designer but, since AGT, has focused more on his music.

His album, “Cowboy Coming Home,” reached the top 10 albums of all genres on the Billboard Mountain Region Heatseekers Chart.

On Friday night, Eli Mosley will perform on the Plaza Stage at 9 p.m. Mosley is best known for being a country music star who is both a rancher and Marine. From Florida, he has released three albums recorded in Nashville. and has opened for such iconic musicians as Tracy Byrd, Tracy Lawrence and more.

Eagle’s tribute band Hotel California will be featured on Saturday night at 9 p.m. This is the only Eagles cover band to receive official authorization for live performances. They are based out of Southern California and are known as the longest running “Eagles” salute show.

There is plenty of daytime entertainment at the Fair as well. Hypnotist Tyzen, who has performed multiple years in the past at the Fair will be bringing a show with plenty of giggles and laughs.

A new magician act out of Oregon will be on display this year as Adam the Great takes center stage.
Circus Luminescence, a juggling duo, will be a visual favorite as they utilize lighting and patterns to produce a sensory experience like no other.

The Rock Bottom Boys will also be on the stage bringing home-grown country and folk style harmonies to life with some boot-stomping beats.

The new extreme sport and acrobatic grounds show will surely be a “slam dunk” favorite for those who love death-defying and air-flying entertainment. The Off Axis Stunt Show features BMX, Trampwall, Parkour, Teeterboard, Slam Dunk Contests.

Animal lovers will love the Cartoon Poodles Show featuring circus acts performed by canines and their trainers with fun, cute and amazing capabilities.

The Sea Lion Splash Show will be back after being one of the biggest hits of last year’s fair. Kids and adults get the experience of a water show like no other, including personal interaction with the stars of the show.

Swifty Swine Racing has become part of the tradition of the annual fair. The racing pigs will be performing multiple times throughout each day.

Circus Luminescence will also be strolling about performing right in the midsts of the crowds. Other acts include Megan the Bubbleologist, Mimelot. Mime, stilt walker Rebecca Fireplug and one man band Washboard Wally.

There will also be performances by local dance groups, school music groups and more.
Of course the main attraction for entertainment will be the PRCA rodeo featuring some of the world’s best cowboys and cowgirls as they try to win the cash awards and raise their stock in the world rankings to qualify for the National Finals Rodeo at the end of the year.

Another entertainment is the mutton busting event which provides lots of thrills and spills.
The mutton busting is free to spectators, while the rodeo costs $20 each for Wednesday and Saturday nights and $25 each for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
