Faye Louise Gilmore

Faye Louise Gilmore of Mesquite, NV passed away February 21, 2024 in St. George, UT. She was born April 10, 1944 to Leonard and Henrietta Wolski.

Faye and her husband James moved from California to Colorado, where they started a business supplying boxes and moving supplies to companies. When it came time to retire they decided to move to Mesquite, NV, where they lived happily until Jim’s death. Faye continued to stay in Mesquite with family and friends. She continued to travel which was the best part of her life, especially visiting her great granddaughter back in Colorado.

She will be missed terribly by her poker friends and bingo players. She spent a lot of time cruising with her family and friends, and recently went to Cabo with her boyfriend David and close friends Jerri and Bob. She got to fly by helicopter to catch the ship. She was still so full of life and trying to experience all that life had to offer. Her death was unexpected.

Faye leaves behind three sons: Anthony, Robert and Stephen Ambrose; siblings: Dale (Sarah) Wolski, Patricia (Robert) Nehilla and Jill (Ron) Herd; she was blessed with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Gilmore, who was there to greet her; her parents; two brothers, Frank Leonard and Gary Lee Wolski; and her grandson Adam.

The family thanks David for making her life so much better these last few months.

A Celebration of Life will be held on her birthday, April 10, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. in the Eureka Casino Showroom.
