The Progress
The Mesquite Toes dance group plans to brighten the lives of Mesquite audience members with their big Spring Spectacular performance entitled “Shine” this weekend. Shows will be held on Friday, April 12 and Saturday, April 13; 1 pm on both days; in the Mesquite Community Theater.
All of great dance teams associated with Mesquite Toes will be performing including clogging, jazz, and tap. And all will be taking the stage in their dazzling costumes.
Friday’s performance will feature the Sun River Tap & Jazz Team and Saturday’s performance will feature the Wood and Flute Choir.
Special performers this year will be the Rhythm Dance Company. On Friday a class of young dance students ages 3-4 will perform. Saturday’s performance will feature students ages Kindergarten to first grade.
First time guest performers will be the Jessen Family Singers: a mother, daughter and granddaughter trio.
Return performance favorites at this event will include Marcia and John’s smooth ballroom dancing, comedian Suzie White, and the Lifelong Dancers tap team.
Tickets to all shows will be sold at the Mesquite Fine Arts Gallery or they are available online at www.mctnv.com.
