Mesa View Medical Group’s Hillside Family Practice had its grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, April 29, at a new facility in Mesquite.

The event included a tour, ceremonial ribbon cutting, refreshments, and light fare at 450-B Hillside Drive, Suite 102, next to the Quick Care office within the Executive Suites & Business cul-de-sac.
Kelly Adams, CEO of MV Regional Hospital, was among the dignitaries on hand for the occasion.

“We strive to increase access to health care services to help meet the need for primary and specialty care as the community grows,” said Adams, who has served in his capacity since December 2020. “This additional location for primary care is an example of such.”

The two newest care providers include family medicine physician Dr. Dagmar Crosby and nurse practitioner Rae Marie Delaney.
“We are pleased to have Dr. Crosby and Rae Delaney, FNP, available by appointment in this Mesa View Medical Group Hillside Family Practice location,” Adams added.

Board-certified Crosby, who hails from the Czech Republic, previously practiced in Washington State and New Zealand. She brings to the table 17 years of experience in primary patient care.
Delaney has been in the health industry for three decades and is a U.S. Air Force veteran who served as an EMT at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas.

Registered nurse Mary Lyman, director of Physician Practice for the medical group, said Mesa View’s main goal is to focus on primary care for the Virgin Valley.
“We are doing our best to keep patients here,” Lyman said, noting the Hillside venue initially opened on April 8.

She expressed high praise for Crosby and Delaney. “We’re lucky to have them,” Lyman said.
Carol Kolson, president and CEO of the Mesquite Chamber of Commerce, sanctioned the event and participated in the ribbon-cutting festivities.

“We are very excited to have Mesa View Medical Group – Hillside Family Practice in Mesquite! They are accepting new patients and bringing a wealth of medical experience to the community,” Kolson said.

She pointed out that Adams continues “to recruit healthcare workers to Mesquite, giving the community more options and is bringing the latest in medical technology to patients here.”

Also making an appearance were the Mesquite Showgirls and newly crowned Ms. Senior Mesquite Bronzie Dabney.
“I’m excited to see a new health care facility in this city,” Dabney said.

Dave Hagan, a Mesa View customer and Mesquite resident, was eager to experience the new Hillside facility. “I’m looking forward to seeing it,” he said.

CEO Adams explained that Mesa View wants to make a push and expand outside the hospital.
“We took advantage of having the practice adjacent to Quick Care,” he said. “This is an excellent deal for the community.”
