Moapa Valley Progress
The Boy’s Soccer team played against Desert Pines at Mack Lyon Middle school and were beaten 9-0. Victor Favela scored three times for the Jaguars. Moapa had five shots on goal and the team continues to work hard on their game.
The Girl’s Soccer Team played at home also and were beaten 10-0 by Faith Lutheran. The Crusaders have a very good team this year as they allowed only one shot their goal keeper had to save. The Girls are working hard trying to develop their game.
Tennis: Both the Boys and Girls teams won by forfeits over Desert Pines last week in the only Tennis action of the week.
Volleyball: The Lady Pirates had a much quieter week last week as they only had two matches. The first one was against Desert Pines in Las Vegas. The Pirates won 3-0 beating the Jaguars 25-18, 25-13, and 25-19. Sierra Kimbrough served seven aces during the match. Ashley Noto and Malary Reid each had four kills while Amanda Campbell had three. On Thursday the Lady Pirates traveled to Enterprise Utah to play a very good Wolves team. Moapa lost 25-10, 25-13 and 25-4.
