Lowry: Record 8-3
Lowry doesn’t pass the ball very much. They average about nine passes per game for 88 yards. Pollock, the Buckaroos quarterback threw eight touchdowns and five interceptions on the season.
Jace Billingsley has 2,286 yards on rushing this season. He had 226 yards and two touchdowns against Spring Creek in the Buckaroos 24-3 victory over the Spartans last Saturday.
Logan Irvin had 136 yards on 36 carries for the Spartans.
Billingsley has scored 30 touchdowns on the season, and will lead Lowry to Moapa Valley in hopes of making the title game for the first time since 1992 when Moapa beat them for the 2A Championship 19-0.
Truckee
Fallon once again kept the Wolverines close for the first half at 7-14. Then Truckee buried the Greenwave 47-14 to win a semi-final birth against Elko, Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in Truckee’s surprise stadium.
Truckee has won 22 straight games. Quarterback Ben Bolton was 17 of 24 for 252 yards and three touchdowns passing.
Colin Christian rushed for 184 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries for the Wolverines. Truckee scored touchdowns on all four possessions in the third quarter.
Elko
Elko has won the right to play Truckee in Truckee, California, with their 39-8 victory over the Dustdevils of Dayton. Dayton quarterback, Kage Walker, was 4 of 13 for 56 yards and had three interceptions in the Dayton loss. Dayton had 164 rushing yards for the game.
Elko’s Christopher Davis, was 5 of 9 for 85 yards and two touchdowns.
The Indians were lead by Ty Wilson’s 159 yards and two touchdowns on the ground, one in the air. Trevor Johnson had eight carries for 90 yards and a touchdown also for Elko. Truckee beat Elko earlier in the season 34-0.
