The blustery weather last week made for light crowds in the stadium but it didn’t dissuade the pro rodeo cowboys from competing in the Clark County Rodeo event, a Wrangler Million Dollar Silver Tour event. Total payout for the local rodeo was $216,857.
Local cowboys Jay and Randon Adams won their hometown rodeo with a time of 10.0 seconds on two head in the team roping, beating out Spencer Mitchell and Broc Cresta by two-tenths of a second.
Tuf Cooper from Decatur, Texas, won in tie-down roping with a time of 16.9 seconds on two head.
Canadian Jake Vold won the bareback riding with an 87-point effortto solidify his place in the world Top 10.
The other champions were steer wrestler Stockton Graves (8.6 seconds on two head), saddle bronc rider Wade Sundell (87 points), bull rider Jake Wade (90 points) and barrel racer Angie Meadors (17.23 seconds).
