The Boys’ Soccer Team travelled to play Chaparral High School. In a huge win for the Pirate program, the boys came from being down 2-1 at the half to winning 3-2. Arturo Gutierrez, Tim Hofmann and Lawrence Villezcas all scored for the Pirates. Boulder City was beaten by Rancho 5-1 as well as Virgin Valley who lost 5-1 to Sunrise Mountain. The Pirates are 2-2 with wins over Chap and The Meadows 2-1. Their losses came against Faith Lutheran 2-6 and Pahrump 3-4.
The Girls’ Soccer team tied with Virgin Valley 1-1 on last Thursday Brandi Thompson scored the lone Pirate goal. They played at Adelson School yesterday and will host Faith Lutheran tomorrow at the middle school.
Their record is 0-0-1.
In Girl’s Golf, Haley Nielson placed fifth at Falcon Ridge in the first league meet with Virgin Valley won. Nielson shot a 96.
The girls play in Boulder City tomorrow.
