The Moapa Valley High School Tennis teams hosted Valley High School in a meet on Thursday, September 22. In the afternoon of competition, Isaiah Boren won his three matches with a 3-0. Skylar Hill won 2-1. In doubles, Camden Stratton/Kade Bryant won 3-0 and Tanner Goodrich/Logan Call lost 1-2.
Girls Doubles team Sydney Widdison/Holly Rust won 2-1. Marta Muri/Liv Plener lost 0-3. In girls singles Sanne Van Hoogmoed lost 1-2. Jennessa gate lost 0-3
Another meet was played against Sunrise Mountain High School on Friday, September 23. Both boys doubles teams won as well as the singles.
The girls also played well with winning games that led to a tie-breaker. But Sunrise pulled out the victory and won.
Set wins for boys team: Camden Stratton/Kade Bryant won 6-0. Tanner Goodrich/Logan Call won 6-1. Skylar Hill won 6-0 and Isaiah Boren won 6-0.
Girls team: Holly Rust/Alyx Waite won 6-4, Kim deVries/Liv Plener won 6-0. Jennessa Gate won 6-0. Sydney Widdison lost 4-6.
