3A Baseball/ Sunrise
This week is the final week in league play.
Boulder City
The Eagles remained in second place with a win over Moapa Valley and Chaparral 11-6 in league play last week. In a non-league game with Legacy they were shut out 10-0 in five innings.

Chaparral
The Cowboys are in third place with a 4-4 record. Last week Chaparral beat Del Sol 6-1 then lost to Boulder City. The Cowboys and Dragons were tied 1-1 after seven innings. In the top of the eighth the Cowboys scored 5 runs for the win.

Del Sol
Del Sol lost to SECTA 12-2 in five innings. SECTA scored 6 runs in the bottom of the first then added 4 in the bottom of the fourth. Del Sol is 2-6 in league play sitting in fifth place.

Virgin Valley
The Bulldogs are 3-5 and sitting in fourth place as the fourth seed right now.
Last week the Bulldogs beat the Roadrunners of SECTA 5-4 to put the Dawgs in fourth place. SECTA had built a 4-0 lead with a run in the second and three runs in the third. Virgin Valley used the fifth and sixth innings to score their 5 runs; 2 in the bottom of the fifth and 3 in the bottom of the sixth.
The Dawgs will finish the regular season hosting Chaparral who they lost to 10-0 last month. They will then travel to Boulder City in the final game of the regular season. They will need to win both games to maintain their position in the region tournament.

Sunrise Standings
Moapa Valley 7-1, Boulder City 6-2, Chaparral 4-4, Virgin Valley 3-5, Del Sol 2-6 and Vo-tech 1-7.

3A Baseball/ Sunset
Cheyenne
The Desert Shields last week were 0-3 with losses to Sunrise Mountain 8-7, Pahrump Valley 12-1 and Desert Pines 12-2.

Desert Pines
The Jaguars last week were 1-2. They lost to Pahrump Valley 10-6 and Mojave 4-3.

Mojave
The Rattlers were 3-0 last week with a 7-1 league record. They beat Western 17-3 and Sunrise Mountain 8-3.

Pahrump Valley
The Trojans are in first place in the Sunset with an 8-0 record. Last week they were 3-0 including a 15-5 home win over Western.

Standings Sunset
Pahrump Valley 8-0, Mojave 7-1, Sunrise Mountain 5-3, Desert Pines 3-5, Cheyenne 1-7 and Western 0-8.

Northern Baseball standings
Spring Creek 16-5, Dayton 15-5, Elko 17-7, Fallon 14-7, South Tahoe 12-8, Fernley 10-11,Truckee 5-15, Lowry 3-18 and Sparks 2-18.

3A Softball/ Sunrise
Boulder City
The Eagles are sitting atop the Sunrise. They came away with a win and a loss last week to break their undefeated league season. They beat Moapa Valley then lost to Chaparral 8-3.
Chaparral scored two runs in the first inning then added 4 in the bottom of the third taking a 6-1 lead. The Eagles scattered nine hits through the game while allowing 12 to the Cowboys.

Chaparral
The Cowboys came up with two wins last week including a big win over Boulder City.

Del Sol
The Dragons last week had two 10 run losses and will be out of the playoffs by the end of this week as they face the top two teams in the Sunrise.
Last week they were beaten by Chaparral 11-1, then SECTA 10-0.

SECTA
The Roadrunners had two 10-0 shutout wins including a win over Virgin Valley. SECTA is sitting in fourth place tied with Chaparral at 4-4.

Virgin Valley
The Bulldogs are out of the post-season tournament with two losses last week. They are 1-7 in league play after losses to SECTA then Moapa Valley.

Sunrise Standings
Boulder City 7-1, Moapa Valley 6-2, Chaparral 4-4. Vo-Tech 4-4, Del Sol2-6 and Virgin Valley 1-7.
3A Softball/ Sunset

Cheyenne
The Desert Shields are in third place right now. Last week they lost to Pahrump Valley 23-11. In this game Cheyenne held a 10-7 lead to start the sixth inning. Pahrump Valley then scored 12 runs in the top of the sixth and 4 more in the top of the seventh for the win.
They beat Sunrise Mountain 27-8 in the first game of the week and finished last week with a 17-2 win over Desert Pines.

Desert Pines
The Jaguars were 0-3 last week dropping them out of post-season action. They were beaten by Pahrump Valley 24-2 and Mojave 11-1 besides their loss to Cheyenne.

Mojave
The Rattlers were 3-0 last week with a 12-4 win over Western and a couple 11-1 wins including the win over Sunrise Mountain.

Pahrump Valley
The Trojans remain on top of the Sunset with an 8-0 record and 3 wins last week. Besides their two wins already mentioned the Trojans beat Western 22-7 last Friday. They host Mojave on Thursday and could wrap up the league title with a win. They beat Mojave 23-4 in their last meeting with Mojave a month ago.

Sunset Standings
Pahrump Valley 8-0, Mojave 7-1, Cheyenne 5-3, Western 3-5, Desert Pines 1-7 and Sunrise Mountain 0-8.

Northern softball standings
Fallon 21-0, Lowry 18-3, Fernley 18-3, Elko 9-12, South Tahoe 8-11, Spring Creek 6-12, Dayton 5-14, Sparks 3-17 and Truckee 2-18.
