Successful Sportsmen Had Lake To Themselves

Think its hot out there? The fishing going on right now on the Overton Arm of Lake Mead is even hotter!

Cenovio Ortiz, Mike Wilcox, and Jeffrey Jones launched onto the Lake last week from Echo Bay.

In an hour and a half they had 61 striped bass in the cooler and were back at the dock.

With two hours of light left, Jeff told his fishing buddies that if they didn’t pull the poles, he was going to start cutting lines. That’s just too many fish to clean!

The sad part was that they were the only boat on the water that day.
“What a load of fun and people are missing out!” Jones said.
