Boys Southern 3A – Sunrise
Boulder City
The Eagles won the southern 3A Sunrise with a 10-0 league record. In their first game last week, the Eagles celebrated senior night with a 72-40 win over Sunrise Mountain. They started with a 17-4 lead after the first quarter, outscored the Miners 23-18 in the second quarter, and then went 22-11 in the 3rd. The Eagles were led by Derrick Thomas who scored 23-points. Ethan Speaker scored 14 while Karson Bailey added 11.
Chaparral

The Cowboys finished last week at second place in the Sunrise. On Thursday they polished off the regular season with a 71-60 win against Virgin Valley. Chaparral struggled to build a big lead over the Bulldogs until the third quarter. They outscored the Dawgs 21-14 in the third quarter then held a 17-16 advantage in the fourth quarter for the win. Sameal Anderson led the Cowboys with 20-points. Elijah Briggs scored 15. Daxon Toone lead the Dawgs with 27-points.

Virgin Valley
The Bulldogs finished as the Sunrise fourth seed with a 4-6 league record. Last week they started with a 80-56 win against Sky Pointe. Virgin Valley took a 20-16 lead in the first quarter. The Dawgs then went cold as the Eagles held a 36-31 lead at halftime. Virgin Valley came out for the second half with a 25-9 third quarter and a 24-11 fourth quarter. Daxon Toone lead the Dawgs with 26-points while Will Barnum added 14. The Dawgs won the right to play at Democracy Prep, the number one seed from the Sunset, in the first round of Regionals.

Sunrise Mountain
The Miners ended their season with a 2-8 league record. They finished their season with a 70-64 win over Sky Pointe. They actually trailed the Eagles 14-11 after the first quarter. But the Miners took the lead in the second and never trail again with a 21-8 second quarter. The Eagles ended their season without a league win at 0-10.

Boys Southern 3A – Sunset
Democracy Prep
The Blue Knights are 10-0 and the Sunset league champions. Last week they finished their regular season with wins against Valley 88-59, and Del Sol 86-58.
Against Valley, the Blue Knights took a 20-12 lead in the first quarter. It was 45-23 by halftime.
In the Del Sol game it wasn’t until the third quarter when the Blue Knights broke the game open. They led 33-27 at halftime then came out in the third quarter and scored 31-points to take control of the game. They finished with a 22-17 fourth quarter.

Mojave
The Rattlers finished their regular season in second place with a 8-2 league record.
They started the week with a 75-43 win over Somerset Losee. In the third quarter the Rattlers out scored Losee 29-5. Chris Jackson led the Rattlers with 18-points. Isiah Harper added 15, Damon McDowell scored 11 and DeSaun Smith scored 10.
The Rattlers will host Moapa Valley in the first round of the Regional tournament.

Del Sol
The Dragons are the third seed in the Sunset with a 5-5 league record.

Western
The Warriors are the fourth seed in the Sunset with a league record of 3-7. They lost to Pahrump (54-50) and Valley (40-37) last week. But they still beat Valley in the tiebreaker for the fourth seed.

Valley
The Vikings finished their season last week with a 3-7 league record.

Pahrump Valley
The Trojans finished their season with a win, their only league win; against Western.

Boys Northern 3A
Elko is 17-0 in league play and are the top seed with a first round bye.
Churchill County is the second seed with a 15-2 record. Their two losses came against Elko. They also have a first round bye.
Lowry is the third seed with a 13-5 league record. They will play sixth seed Fernley who was 9-9 in league play. The winner of that game will play Churchill County.
Dayton is the fourth seed with a 10-8 league record. They will play South Tahoe in the first round who is 9-7. The winner of that game will play Elko.

Girls Southern 3A – Sunrise
Boulder City
The Eagles won the league title with a 9-1 league record. They beat Sunrise Mountain last week 45-32 then Moapa Valley 53-41. The Eagles will host Western in the first round of the regional tournament.

Moapa Valley
The Pirates are the second seed with a 7-3 league record. The Pirates will host Democracy Prep in the first round of the regional tournament.

Sunrise Mountain
The Miners are the third seed in the Regional tournament with a league record of 6-4. Last week they beat Sky Pointe 67-29. They will travel to second seeded Mojave for the first round.

Virgin Valley
The Bulldogs are the fourth seed in the Sunrise with a record of 5-5. Last week they beat Sky Pointe 46-25 then lost to Chaparral 40-39. The Dawgs will travel to Pahrump the top seed from the Sunset.

Chaparral
The Cowboys ended their season with a 3-7 league record.

Sky Pointe
Sky Pointe finished with a 0-10 league record and placed last in the Sunrise.

Girls Southern 3A – Sunset
Pahrump Valley
The Trojans are the Sunset league champions with a 9-1 league record. Last week they beat Western 35-21 then Mojave 43-37.

Mojave
The Rattlers are the second seed from the Sunset with a 8-2 league record.

Democracy Prep
The Blue Knights are the third seed with a 7-3 league record. Last week they beat Valley by forfeit then beat Del Sol 62-23.

Western
The Warriors are the fourth seed with a 3-7 league record. They beat Valley 40-36 then Del Sol 36-28.

Del Sol
The Dragons finished in fifth and out of the playoffs with a 3-7 league record. They lost in the tie breaker to Western for the fourth seed.

Valley
The Vikings were 0-10 in league play and had just one win all season.

Girls Northern 3A
Churchill county is the top seed and the defending 3A state champion. They are 17-0 in league play and will have a first round bye.
Spring Creek is the second seed with a 14-3 league record. They will have a first round bye as well.

Lowry is the third seed with a 14-4 league record. They will play either Elko or South Tahoe in the first round. Both Elko and South Tahoe have a league record of 6-10. The winner will play Spring Creek in the second round.

Truckee is the fourth seed with a 12-5 league record. The Wolverines will play Fernley, the fifth seed, in the first round of the northern regional tournament. Fernley is 10-7 in leagues play, The winner will play Churchill county in the second round.
