Bulldogs Win in Pahrump, Pahranagat

The Virgin Valley softball team picked up two road victories last week over Pahrump Valley, 13-0; and Pahranagat Valley of Alamo, 12-1.
The results improve the Lady Bulldogs overall mark to 15-0.

Riley Price pitched and hit VVHS to wins in both contests. Against Pahrump, Price scattered two base hits, walked one and struck out nine in the five-inning game. She also smacked a double and triple while driving in three runs.

Against Pahranagat Valley, Price dominated the small 1A school inside the circle. The senior gave up just one hit, walked none and struck out 17 batters in going the seven-inning distance. She also belted three triples and drove in three runs.

Reggi Frei also had two big games. The junior collected three hits, including a double and triple, and drove in three runs against Pahranagat Valley and also had three hits against Pahrump.

Natalie Plancarte added to the offense by getting three base hits and driving in two runs against Pahranagat Valley while collecting three hits and driving in two runs against Pahrump.

Davie Slack chipped in with two hits in each game while Evia Toone doubled, tripled and drove in three runs at Pahrump.

Ana Tausinga had two hits at Alamo and drove in two runs.
