The Virgin Valley High School softball team shut down a visiting Pahrump Valley team on Tuesday, May 9, winning the second round of the regional tournament in six innings, 10-0.
Riley Price went the distance in the circle for the Bulldogs allowing only 3 hits, striking out 16 and walking 3.
Reggi Frei led the Bulldog offense with 3 hits and 2 RBI. Bulldog sluggers Brooklyn Montoya and Ana Tausinga each brought home 2 runners on 1 hit apiece in the game.
Virgin Valley now advances to the next round which will be played in Boulder City against the Eagles on Wednesday at 4 pm.
